Return of the Incredible Shrinking Man
There’s virtually nothing left of him, an emaciated skeleton that shuffles up to us, the bones of his skull showing through the translucent skin of his hollow cheeks. His sunken eyes look out at us in terror, as if to say “What have I done to myself? Where will it all end?”.
And indeed, where is the cheery, chubby chap we once knew? This can’t be him, this wasted skin sack of angular bone and gristle. This stick figure drawing of a human being.
