Lovely Loz

If Music be the Food of Love, then I’ve got E-Coli

Quite a strange one for you this week. There’s the usual stuff of course: a fair bit of Laura baiting, some beautiful songs, Celine Dion and the hot dogs, ukulele karaoke, silky red negligees, some interesting uses for pens, open mouth kissing and the results of the robot and the bangle but then there’s something else, something changes at the end.

I don’t have the wit or subtlety required to describe how I feel.

Standing here motionless, the world keeps turning and some of us are flung off. Perhaps someone who was standing beside you just moments ago. Someone you didn’t give a second thought to until they weren’t there. That’s a special kind of grief, distant and intimate at the same time.

Clearly, I didn’t know how to respond, but Ruth this is for you.
