This week, Chris Sigma and Laura present a whole hodge podge of tidbits scattered from the final two episodes, present the winner of the lyrics competition, discover just how tantalising a cup of tea can be and listen to the existential crisis of a Star Whale. It’s a bit schitzophrenic- but with a person who’s had ten other personalities being our starting point, who can blame us?

This week, the Ood Cast try and ignore the temptation to run around screaming like excited children (we did that after the recording had finished) and take a trip into a land of childhood memories and councils of war …

We see what would happen if the Anti-Doctor coalition had picked a different book from Amy’s shelves and our helpful fly-on-the-wall learns how all those different species put aside their differences to trap their slippery target.

And we’re joined by a star completely of his own making: Laura’s dad – who blows us away (like pencil shavings on his sketch pad) with this week’s song.

Laura explains why Jon Pertwee reminds her of a sheep that does taekwondo, Andy makes one too many pun-based Dad jokes, Alpha educates us on the provenance of the Silurians and Sigma delves into the psychological differences between men and women when watching scenes involving physical pain.

There’s also some made up news, a subterranean job interview, a visit to the British Secret Service, a segment set behind the scenes at a Doctor Who production meeting and the results of our Underground song competition.

Our new friend Geoff is polite, well spoken and enthusiastic. His hobbies include underground travel, cyber begging and annoying David Tennant.

And boy does he have a story to tell.
